Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight regional routes within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logging
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries and route optimization
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and traffic avoidance
- Maintain professional communication with clients and warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
- Ability to work overnight shifts (7:00 PM - 5:00 AM) with flexible scheduling
- Current DOT medical certification and hazmat endorsement preferred
- Proficient in electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Physical ability to climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong defensive driving skills and weather adaptability
