Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for long-haul deliveries across Texas
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous trip documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while prioritizing safety
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling protocols
- Communicate with dispatch via satellite tracking systems
- Maintain clean, compliant vehicle interior and exterior
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major violations in 3 years)
- TWIC card and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
