Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for night-time deliveries and pickups within DC metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across multiple locations
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DC metro area and East Coast routes
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
