Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for long-haul and regional routes across the Northeast corridor
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage loading/unloading operations and verify cargo documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Utilize GPS systems for optimized route planning and real-time delivery tracking
- Maintain accurate logs and digital records of all transport activities
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and Northeast corridor routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check and MVR review
