Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Manage paperwork, including logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and local traffic laws.
