Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal route efficiency
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- 2+ years OTR or regional trucking experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Memphis metro area and regional highways
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work variable weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Electronic logging device (ELD) proficiency
