Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on highways and local routes throughout the Phoenix metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and mileage logs.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to ensure timely delivery.
- Handle customer service duties, including verifying shipments and addressing concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Current Medical Card (DOT physical) is mandatory.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- U.S. citizenship or valid legal work authorization.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
