Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks in local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class A or B preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
