Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (CDL A/B) on assigned delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload freight accurately, securing cargo to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to resolve routing issues or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUI or serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety.
