Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and long-haul routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure cargo is secured and remains in good condition throughout the transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods.
