Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in accordance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring freight is secure and undamaged.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and log required paperwork accurately (ELD/HOS).
- Deliver freight to customer locations on time, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any route changes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
