Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated locations in Tampa and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and manage delivery documentation accurately and on time.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring freight safety during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize accidents and downtime.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid US Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience (Entry-level applicants with clean records considered).
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety.
