Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport goods safely and efficiently across Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA guidelines.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety systems and DOT regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
