Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on regional routes throughout Florida
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance issues to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Assist in freight handling when required (non-touch freight available)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays (home daily primary)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Must pass thorough background check
