Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring all freight is secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs (ELD) and electronic logging devices.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support staff regarding route changes or delays.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker, Double/Triple).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and interstate travel laws.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
