Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across regional routes with 95%+ on-time delivery rate
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD) compliance
- Secure cargo using industry-standard techniques and verify shipping documentation
- Optimize route efficiency while adhering to HOS regulations and local traffic laws
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delays or route changes
- Maintain clean vehicle interiors and report maintenance needs promptly
- Deliver exceptional customer service during loading/unloading interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/Regional driving experience
- Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and border crossing protocols
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable for Texas-Mexico routes
