Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and reefers) for local and regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
- Build strong client relationships through professional delivery service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade and Broward County roadways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for overnight regional trips (10% of schedule)
