Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Virginia roadways and East Coast routes
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must be at least 23 years old with 2+ years experience
