Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods on time
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Resolve delivery issues and provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Virginia traffic laws and routes
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
