Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within Arizona and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and secure loads per DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients throughout transit
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws
- Submit delivery documentation and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (or CDL graduate)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights/weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
