Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch for real-time load adjustments
- Represent company brand through professional conduct
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Louisiana/Mississippi transport routes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexible to irregular schedules and overnight stays
