Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for regional freight transport
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Plan efficient routes while meeting tight delivery deadlines
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch and clients for seamless logistics execution
- Load/unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and route navigation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb trailer decks
- Strong communication skills and customer service focus
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highways
