Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes and long-haul assignments
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with punctuality
- Collaborate with logistics team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of hazmat handling (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills and route familiarity
- Excellent time management and communication skills
