Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL required) for regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Resolve delivery issues proactively and professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Knowledge of North Carolina road regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
