Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 semi-trucks for regional deliveries and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and DOT safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 1 year recent tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
