Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes in Los Angeles County
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Ensure timely delivery while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Los Angeles traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
