Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and logs
- Maintain vehicle inspection reports and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment use
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of local/regional road networks and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
