Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and dedicated routes
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems while meeting delivery deadlines
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and documentation
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance records
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with refrigerated/hazardous materials preferred
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Flexibility for overnight stays and weekend shifts
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
