Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Complete all required paperwork including delivery confirmations and incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of mountain driving conditions and hazardous materials handling
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
- Must be 23+ years of age with no major preventable accidents in past 3 years
