Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional and local routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of diverse freight
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with CA traffic laws and mountain routes
- Basic navigation skills and GPS proficiency
- Strong time management and communication abilities
