Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Minimize fuel consumption through efficient driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 25 years old with 1+ year recent tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb trailer steps
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend schedules
