Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B CDL required) for local and regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document maintenance reports accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients using digital tracking systems
- Adapt to changing schedules and route conditions while prioritizing safety
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends for critical deliveries
- Knowledge of Washington state traffic laws and Seattle metro routes
