Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional routes across Texas and New Mexico
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and compliance documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or recent CDL graduate
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safe driving practices
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Southwest routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
