Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is properly secured and protected during transit.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintenance logs accurately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Navigate delivery routes professionally while adhering to traffic laws and time schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on position) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
