Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for long-haul and regional routes within California
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance for all cargo
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for timely deliveries and route adjustments
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Participate in ongoing safety training and fleet maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highway systems and regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement protocols
- Flexibility for overnight trips and occasional weekend work
