Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
Qualifications
- Certified Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo handling procedures.
- Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
