Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (eDOT, bills of lading)
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Virginia traffic laws and regional routes
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital logbooks and communication
- Must be 25+ years old (insurance requirement)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
