Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 semi-trucks for long-haul routes across the continental US
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and delivery scheduling
- Handle secure freight documentation and ensure chain-of-custody integrity
- Maintain clean driving record and professional customer service interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Hazmat endorsement strongly preferred
- Willingness to cross state lines with irregular home time
