Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following NYC traffic regulations
- Plan and execute optimized daily routes across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Resolve delivery discrepancies with exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with warehouse team for inventory coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL or commercial driver's license
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and route planning apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of NYC geography and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification required
