Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products and materials on scheduled routes throughout San Diego County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve client inquiries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adapt routes efficiently to accommodate traffic conditions and delivery priorities
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and timelines
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of San Diego geography and traffic patterns
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking applications
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
