Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional routes within Missouri/Kansas
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining DOT compliance
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
- Assist with freight loading/unloading as needed
- Utilize electronic logging systems accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with flatbed/dry van equipment preferred
- Strong knowledge of regional highways and Kansas City area
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including weekends/overnights
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
