Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in compliance with all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of duty status (DOT compliant).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, driving habits, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
