Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Utilize electronic logging devices and GPS navigation systems for route optimization
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service at all delivery points
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices and navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and climb into trailer
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules as needed
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
