Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes following DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for on-time route optimization
- Ensure cargo security and temperature control for sensitive shipments
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and Florida highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
