Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries throughout the Bay Area
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Ensure on-time delivery while optimizing route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and routes
- Physical ability to handle 50+ lb loads
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with refrigerated freight preferred
- Basic navigation and GPS proficiency
