Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for multi-state deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS routing optimization
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control and securement
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Knowledge of Washington DC and Mid-Atlantic geography
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
