Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes in and around the San Diego area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts, bills of lading, and electronic logging entries.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT hours-of-service regulations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
