Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for local/regional routes
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and maintain electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning
- Secure and verify cargo during loading/unloading procedures
- Ensure strict compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to stakeholders
- Perform minor preventive maintenance and basic repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years OTR/Regional experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HazMat endorsement preferred
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong communication and time-management skills
