Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on time
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Handle cargo loading/unloading with proper equipment
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HOS regulations and logbook compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills and route planning ability
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
