Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across North Carolina
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant logs
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients on delivery status
- Adhere to all federal/state regulations and company safety standards
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of North Carolina roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
